Learn to Navigate

Open moorland can be a daunting place, especially when the “clag” or low clouds roll in, making it difficult to find your way. This is probably the biggest barrier that puts people off from exploring Dartmoor, and we want to change that. Come along to one of our 1, 2 or 3 day navigation courses and learn from one of our qualified Mountain Leaders, specialists in upland navigation and mountaineering, so you can explore with confidence, knowing that you’ve got the skills to navigate even when the visibility drops right down!
